Default Civilian load bearing gear?

Since most of our hiking is going to be much shorter this year due to our sons age, I'm considering downgrading from my daypack to a belt based setup. I would be carrying a 1 or 2qt gi canteen, multitool, Glock 23 and an extra mag on the belt. Along with my edc spyderco, keys, wallet and phone my pockets. I have a couple sturdy belts that would work but I feel this may be too much without suspenders.

Definitely want to avoid any type of para military look and since the Glock is concealed this would only work under heavier shirts but any thoughts or ideas? Maybe just easier to keep the daypack....

Might want to look at Belt with butt pack & suspenders, but can get in various colors. I used one for years in search & rescue; wish I still had it.

Well, it sounds like, since you will be carrying concealed, the only thing you are really adding to an EDC setup is the water. For that you could just pickup a 1 liter water bottle with a shoulder strap, I have one from Arctic Zone that i have had for several years and I use it when I go to training classes.

Well, I currently load out with just the ccw and mag on my belt, everything else goes in daypack with 3l bladder (not usually full to capacity) with some extra supplies like snack bars.

Adding any more to the belt and it's going to be heavy. Also I do have a gi 2qt canteen with shoulder strap that works well.

Those gear911 looks nice, but I think over kill. I might try a pair of work suspenders on the pants to be just enough. Could get a pair of expired turnout suspenders also.... Just add bachelor's buttons.

Isn't there something similar to a tac-vest that doesn't look military out there? I would rather wear that and a small pack then a large pack

RIBZ is the only thing I can think of. Just looks like a vest and if not overloaded, it can be covered up with a jacket for discreet carry. It all depends on what you want and what you plan on doing.

Maybe this? You could hang other things off it if you wanted.

I just have a rectangular black flap pouch with a cheap holster mounted inside it. Has nylon web to hang if off a belt with. Looks like just a supplemental camera pouch on the fanny pack.
