Generally EDC in vehicle kits, are Bic or Clipper lighters, with survival caps on them.

But, back-ups to those is a ranger banded zippo type lighter, spare wick/flints, extra fuel + Ferro rod & carbide striker.

Since one never knows what kind of situations one might be in.
Also carry Weber fire lighter cubes, for tinder.
(removed from box & stored in a Mylar ziplock)

All the rigs have an ammo can of flares.
