Because it adds extra cost on top of already expensive stock

I know of none, but you can simply lock down your carbine stock so it's no longer adjustable.

Here's a little giz that does it:

you can do it right or you can do it cheap.. which usually results in having to pay even more in the end to go back and do it right

Can I ask why you want the fixed stock?
If it's just for looks or style, rock on.
But if you just want a solid stock that doesn't rattle and you already have a carbine buffer, try one of the more solid adjustable stocks. I have a the MFT Minimalist stock and it doesn't rattle and locks up solid.

Usually found for around $50

If youre going for a traditional AR fixed stock, I dont see any other way than to get a standard buffer tube.

If you want the A2 length, you'll also need the spacer.

If you want the M16/M16A1 length, you dont need the spacer, but you do need an A1 stock screw (the upper screw with the hole through it), which is shorter. If you use an A2 with the A1 stock, you'll run into function problems.

Ive never really been a slider" fan, but they have grown on me over the years. I prefer fixed stocks, and especially the A1 length stocks, as they give the same LOP as most other combat stocked rifles, including the AK's.

Ah, I got that now from looking at your screen name *face palm*. Sorry bro.

Here's the MOE fixed stock, I believe it goes right on the regular carbine tube.

Except I need rifle length stock for bench shooting. Like UTG A2 stock, but it's ugly as heck

I had a cheap stock years ago that the adjusting post broke. I threaded a bolt into it and left it where it sat in the furthest position. Voila. Fixed stock.

.....gave that AR to my brother....Olympic arms.

The UTG is a whole new level of ugly.

Joe Bob has the A2 for $55.

https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/AR_...g-rb-t469b.htm

Description says it's a UTG/Lepers. Don't know what the difference is.

That stock you show in the pic isnt what I was seeing for the UTG stocks. What Harbinger posted was what I was seeing, and that is your basic A1/A2 AR stock.

The one you show kind of looks like one of those old, short LOP "entry" type stocks they were selling back in the 90's.
