Wow a bad case of raccoon, I haven't seen a case like that in years.
The give away was the paw print in the photo. Yeah just put some egg traps out, that should sort the problem. |

Picked up a ATNŽ MK390 Paladin Night Vision Scope to help sort this out. Will be going back up to the BOL next week end and will check out the game camera for clues to the culprit then will take them out!

Recently, an armadillo tore up my dormant lawn on one side of the house. I made some pics of Armadillo damage. Maybe that's what you've got. Oh wait you said that you didn't think that they were that far north yet.
I'm thinking I'll set up a 6 ft step ladder as a tree stand some night and bow hunt the little bastid. I think I can hear him over in the woods next door as I type this. LOL! |

I've never seen skunks tear up a lawn like that but pretty close. I'm not familiar with armadillo behavior so that is possible as well. |

Ibe watched trail cam videos of my yard with striped skunks and raccoons doing that very thing. Invest in some traps or a .22 if you plan on stopping them. My neighbor would raise cane with me if I shot them. Got a 40 dollar cage trap and in a couple weeks no more critters in the yard.
