trouble posting pics

I am trying to post some pics in the .22 calibur Sticky above. The insert image button is asking for a http address. The pic is on my desktop. The attachments button works to browse and find the pic but does not show it. What's the trick here?

When you click the "attachment" button (paper clip) and the window pops up you should have an option to "Browse" do that and direct the link to the picture on your desktop, then click "upload" on the bottom of the tab. Type what you'd like in the "reply" box and submit reply and it "should" be there..

Every time I try to upload I get "Upload of file failed."
Doesn't matter what I do. The only thing I haven't done
was put the image on the desktop and upload from there.

Your image could be too big. Are they .jpeg images? either way, you can re-size them with windows "Paint". Very easy to use and re-save..

I actually do computer graphics and 3D using
Blender 2.65 and Photoshop CS3.
So yes they are the right size and file type.

Location on your computer whether it the "My Pictures" folder, storage drive with files and folders, USB drive or desktop, shouldn't matter, I've used them all..

What browser are you using?
Are you using Internet Explorer, Fire Fox?
