For all of you in this thread who said you want to move, have at it. A lot who moved to the country 50 years ago and convinced others they should do the same are starting to realize, that's how cities are born. Some of those that moved 50 years ago, did so because they didn't like the color of their towns anymore. I suppose there are still towns that have NO minorities, but if you pack up and move to escape a color or a political POV, you best stay packed up, you will be moving again soon. You can't outrun change.

They were mocked and ridiculed, called lunatics, ostracized and lied about by the media. They are originators of the modern tea party that was hijacked by the neocons. They were the patriots that supported Ron Paul. Those are constitutionalists who still believe in 1776 a certain poster asked about

People in the United States are free to believe whatever doctrine suits them...even racist people. Get over it.

I think it would be great to give California, Washington, and Oregon to the liberals, they can kick EVERY conservative out as long they agreed to replace each one of them with a socialist from another state. We need to have an amicable divorce soon, or we are going to have a very messy one!

I look at it this way...those states that believed in 1860 that they had self determinism, were free to exit a government they felt was oppressing them, and that the United States is not a suicide pact between states, still believe those things in 2012.

Follow the money...government money .

that can be said about alot of the states .... Illinois is similiar .... there's 104 counties in IL .... except for Crook County and a couple of other counties with big municipalities, Romney won .... but counties of small towns and corn/beans farmland can't overcome a 5M population county of mostly minorities ....
