Maine Wild Edibles

I like the idea of posting wild edibles from different regions, here are a few i know of in Maine, please help add to this list:

-Cattail
-FIDDLEHEADS!
-Wild Garlic and Onion
-Rasberry
-Blueberry
-Blackberry
-Strawberry
-Dandelion

Soo many more i just can't think of

I wish I could easily add a lot to this, and I can add a couple off the top of my head: wintergreen and pine needle tea.

I have accumulated a number of wild edible and medicinal plant books but they are all stored at my BOL location in Maine and I do not have access until the temperatures warm up.

There is or was a real expert on wild edible plants in Maine who is a member here: straightrazor.

I have posted it before but seeing as how you are looking for information ill post it again. I have a bunch of survival docs on my website including what can and can not be eaten in the wild, and what plants to avoid. Here is a link and please download and share the docs they are there for everyone. The more we know the better! :) LINK
