If Romney were elected Obama would be a lame duck without the support of his own party. Rommney laid out his position on Gun Control in the Debate and it is far superior to Obama's.

But nothing wold change. Romney has already expressed his beliefs in the power of Executive Orders. He has already demonstrated how willingness to sign Assault Weapons Bans. The rest of the Republican Party have already started making their excuses and pleading 'compromise'. Only a Republican mouthpiece or a lunatic would pretend that things would be any different if Romney won the election.

All Presidents use executive Orders Obama has used them to blatantly violate the Constitution which has never been done before. Have You ever bothered to actually read the Constitution????

I never said things would be great if Romney were elected...just tons better than under Obama....I never said Romney was my preferred choice jsut a better choice than Obama or anybody else after the Primaries and Conventions.

The Republican and Democratic Parties are both beyond saving. The sooner people realize that and spread the word, the better our dwindling chances of saving the Union will be.

To some degree I agree but they have framers that can be used for a rebuild (to put it in mechnics terms) in much the same way the Republicans used the frame of the Whigs.

Personally, I think there are too many people like you. I think the country is ****ed.

Ya, I don't see where we are losing our constitution with the current 144 EO's that Obama has assigned. I agree we are ****ed as you say, I think it goes deeper than our current leader! It is the amazing how divided we are as citizens now have based on how we react based on what out elected officials have show us is... ok.

James Yeager went about it wrong and has since made Alex Jones look calm. There is almost zero reason to use the media at your disposal to act like this, unless you are looking for attention. Guess what James has it now, and he will always be looked at. If he was starting a movement, you don't call it out prior to it, in essence he shot himself in the foot before the battle even started.

We all know the gymnastics a conservative must go through to be elected in any North Eastern State. Though I hated what he did in Massacheusetts they got the govenor they wanted and deserved. He kept his WORD to the people in that state.

Fast forward to his response in the 2012 Debate on that Question and there is no reason whatsoever to believe he would not keep his word to the American People given in that Debate Respnse.

I have never maintained that Romney was perfect or even my preferred Candidate but he had a real chance to win whereas no other candidate, write-in, or former candidate I would rather have voted for came even close to.

So I voted for the best choice out of the field of candidates that had any chance of winning.

Romney would have been 20X better than Obama whereas Santorum (one of the 3 Candidates I preferred) would have been 100X better than Obama.

As a result we are stuck with a President that will doom our nation to economic and political hell for ages to come.

I would rather have remained in Pergatory with a future chance at heaven (to extend the metaphore).....short sighted "want it now or never" idiots doomed our nation to hell in a handbasket.

He's a politician. A Two-Party politican. What he says is irrelevant compared to his public record. And his public record damns him. He's not the only one performing gymnastics.

Then you need to re-examine your criteria. Because he wasn't the best candidate that had a chance of winning and Romney had no chance of winning. Gary Johnson had a chance of winning if people like you stopped contorting their positions to fit the rhetoric the Republican Party and their mass media stooges spew at you.

Romney was no better and neither was Santorum. They were both garbage along with Perry and Bachmann. The only candidate worse than them was Newt Gingrich. He is infectious human waste.
