There is probably a correlation to how the feds were able to 'launder' guns and make them vanish. Been going on since the 1970s as far as I remember. The Iran Contras also used shells to move guns, drugs, and palletized US dollars.

The 150,000 or 200,000 round order don't bother me. Its the billion+ round orders that bother me.

I don't know if you guys were following the actual .gov contract site when all that was happening. When the really big orders went through there was a lot of controversy, and you could go on the gov site and actually view the contracts.

But then the government put through a big .223 order, and actually used a marker to redact the specific amounts. But based on the size of the typeface and the width of the mark out, it was at least 10 or 11 figures. Enough to kill every man woman and child on the continent.

That's exactly right.
This was the plan all along.

And all of this screaming by Hillary, Biden and Cuomo is all just provocation.
They're not stupid.
Do you really thing they're telegraphing their next move?

No.

They're trying to provoke a bunch of self-proclaimed militias to take action.
They're waiting for the people to fire the first shot.
THEN they will come down on us like an avalanche.

It's going down folks.

Default Speculate - Why did DHS order over 1 billion rounds of ammo?

200 million ordered a few years ago. 450 million last yer, and recently 750 million rounds ordered.

These are hollow points, not basic ball for practice. They are meant for actual use on people.

That is enough ammo to kill every man, woman and child in the US 4 times with plenty of bullets left over for plinking the rising Zombies that follow in the aftermath.

The number of rounds, is simply mind boggling.

What could they possibly need THAT much ammo for?

The Iraq war only used 70 million a year at it's peak.

If they were preparing for a prolonged civil war, would not the first order for 200 million rounds be more than enough?

I am suspecting these ammo orders are for something way bigger than exterminating the entire US population.

What are your thoughts?

With every billion rounds ordered you get a free iPod.

Probably should check out the purchasing officer to see if he has a unmarked Swiss bank account or has been vacationing a lot in Aruba.

FWIW I don't know the procedure departments use when replacing old ammo. I remember when I enlisted in 1984 we were still using ammo from the Vietnam War. Anyhow I spent 10 years working for a national freight company and we'd get ammo shipments for the border patrol (Canadian side), DHS, and customs. I was amazed at the amount they regularily had shipped. Unless they were doing a lot of range shooting for practice it was an unordinarily large amount.

If you look at store shelves over the past month the public is most definitely not bullet-less..

All of the reports I've seen on this say that they're buying hand gun ammunition. Even in subs they're still not going to have the range or accuracy to do much good. Sounds like it's more geared for thugs moving door to door rounding up the cattle to send em to Camp Hope, i mean FEMA camps..

I asked them to order some for me but they never responded back to my email, Might as well save something on the shipping since they were spending my money anyway.
