at least he can get people thinking, maybe even researching stuff for themselves. maybe they can someday realize that this stuff isnt quite so "out there" after all.
He was a Navy Seal, an Entertainer (yes a Wrestler), and a State Governor (either Minnesota or Michigan) - but does that mean he is uneducated and may or may not know what he is talking about?
You don't make it through BUDS training without being really bright and you don't live through the vietnam war as a SEAL without becoming really paranoid.
Im sorry bu I cant stand the guy. I have only seen one episode so far but the way he talks and emphasizes every other word and then the people he used for references seemed kinda hokey. Plus it ****es me off that he mentioned he was a seal no less than 5 times in the episode I was watching (Once per show is MORE than enough) The episode I watched was about the weather station ("mind control" station) in Alaska. 90% of the information seemed to be completely bogus and out there. I dont like the guy as a TV personality and I'm not going to totally discredit his whole show since I have only seen one episode but just saying from what I have seen I would give the show a D+ on the coolness scale and an A+ on the "tin foil hat" theme.
i have watched a few episodes. most of what i have seen on his shows is stuff i allready new to be true. he is telling us mostly the truth but mixing it with so much showyness that it makes it seem hard to believe. plus what he is telling is allready old news.
if you do some research you will see that alot of it is credible. but thats the whole point of the show i think, is to get people to actually look into things.
i mean how many of us really know that what we see on the news is true. think about it, i live in MN, if i see on the news that there was a terrorist attack in texas, i really have no way to know its true. if i just beleive it without doing research then i fall into the trap with all the other sheeple.
I watched a bit of the first episode, or I think it was the first. Some of it was good some of it seemed like typical TV entertainment. It does get people thinking though. I had a friend call me after the show and he was really questioning the government afterword, and checking out different websites and youtube vids. Its good because he usually just goes with the flow. It was nice to see him start to wake up to whats going on around him.
It was kinda similar to watching my wife wake up and start to understand that the government isnt always looking out for your best interest. when it hits some one it hits like a ton of bricks.
i have always said the government was out to get you. its only now that people are starting to realize i wasnt crazy and that i was right or that i was just right.
I thought last nights was his most accurate thus far. I have been concerned about cameras since they made it onto the streets as "safety devices" to better protect the she"people" and put bad guys behind bars. HA HA HA HA...
I thought the intelligence gathering rock was scary in that we have put our selves in the world of geek's and government perverts who use the anti-constitutional means to get more money and control the people. Thugs do not care if there are cameras for the most part. At first maybe, but as time rolls forward their nature of evil soon does not care.
I am more concerned about techno equipment than I am a man confronting me on the street. (For those of you who will say that "you just think your tough and mean Blah, Blah, Blah. Not True!) Now that the "stupid" disclaimer has been posted. I would rather face a man in an ally wanting to do me bodily harm than face the alphabet guys in a rigged court with evidence gathered because of the (unconstitutional) patriot act.
I think some of the things Ventura brings up are more valid then "mainstream media", not Fox though they are Great...(another one for the "stupid").
I liked jesse up till this summer 2009....I couldn't believe he spoke against waterboarding of terrorists...IMO he lost all credibility when he did that..I guess he forgot how hard his SEAL traning was....
I think it's an 'alphabet soup' project to discredit valid conspiracy theories in the mainstream. He's high on drama, full of himself (why does everyone call him governor? I assume because they are told by the producers to do so), and contradicts and debunks himself by the end of the program. What would the average viewer think of the theory by the end? Come on folks, he's a SEAL and ex-governor, he's perfect for a classic dis-info campaign.
He is called govenor because it's a sign of respect for the fact that he once held the office. Even ex presidents are still called Mr. President for the same reason.
From wikipedia
"The title of president should not be applied anachronistically. For example, when referring to the period before Former President of the United States Bill Clinton was elected president, he would be referred to as "Bill Clinton, the Governor of Arkansas". Referring to the period after he left office, he would be described as either "former President Bill Clinton" or "Bill Clinton, the Forty-Second President of the United States." The title "Mr. President" should only be used for the current officeholder, although in modern times this guideline is frequently disregarded."
I have to admit that I am a fan of Jesse. Any governor who refunds part of the money I paid for taxes is fine with me. Yes, he was a strange one but if I had to vote for him again (yes, I voted for him) I would.
as if most, if not all news shows, are not staged so as to insure that the results are waht they want them to be-----Jesse Ventura makes you stop and think
the best way they have to discredit the the truth is to put it right out there in shows like that. the more goofball they make the show the more people will say it cant be true even if it is.
either way it gets people to question things which is always good.
Scumbag extraordinaire IMO. His political points of view about afghanistan make me want to puke. I will not hear anything from anybody who says we need to stay in the middle east. It was all about the oil from the very get-go, which was simply our own govt attacking US citizens in order to get US military in the oil regions. Any govt which does this (attack it's own populace in order to keep them as slaves) is my enemy for life. PERIOD. As long as people pay attention to this crap (anything but the cold hard truth), we will stay as slaves to these scum. TV is no more enlightening than it is entertaining anymore. I don't gas what he once did.
if you get the facts we went into iraq because a ceasefire was broken. it is not all about oil on our end. it was however about oil when saddam broke the ceasefire and went after kuwait.
and yes the truth is that we do need to be in the middle east. we just are not allowing our soldiers to do their jobs the way they need to be done. if things were done right we would own that sh!thole and it would all be over by now. we need to quit letting morons play politics with our soldiers lives and turn them loose to do their jobs.
things have been let to go to long in the middle east and a lot of people need to be removed from the equasion. anybody that doesnt believe that their are people over there that want to destroy america and have the means to do it are just sticking their heads in the sand.
as a nation we have become to soft. its time to man up.
if you are afraid to shed the blood of your best warriors you will not exist long as a free nation. (not saying we are all that free anymore) that is a proven fact.
if you want peace prepare for war. if you are threatend, respond with swift, agressive, violence of action. that is the only way to stay on top.
I talked to a guy who is in the Army Infantry. He's been to both Iraq and Afghanistan(verified kills). He's scheduled to go back to Afghanistan later next year.
He said neither war will ever end. You can kill those people all day long and their sons will replace them.
that may be so but eventually they will see the light. right now they think we are cowards. our great messiah has announced surrender dates and they have heard them. this makes us look like sissies.
if todays military was the miltary of 50 yrs ago we would have had the mess cleaned up in a hurry. but today with all the pc garbage and politics being played, we lost the fight before we were even in it.
