How does one politely point out a lack of a plan?

I have already pointed out she couldn't lock herself in, if there was no electricity they food would go bad (if it wasn't looted already, ect), and she would be surrounded (potentially) by people she didn't know without weapons to defend herself.
Her newest plan in light of this, is to try and seduce a male to take care of her...
The silliness of that idea was so absurd it made my brain hurt.
Does anyone else know a rational way to explain why that would be a horrible idea without being overly rude? I know it sounds like a useless cause, but I am hoping to prompt her into have a better plan B.

Ummmmmmmm.......the first thing I thought of was that you might need a new set of friends. The female that you described sounds like she is too dizzy to even be allowed to cross the street, by herself.

Re the seduction plan........unfortunately, a lot of good-looking women think just like this. They are convinced that they can trade their sexuality for ANYTHING they might want or need in life. (And worse, yet, a lot of men will go for this bait. The old cliche about thinking with the little head. LOL)

Yes, it certainly does sound like a useless cause. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time trying to change that mindset. But........that's just me.

She is your friend, right? Are 100% of your friends preppers? Just talk about something else, let her know that you are here when she wants to get serious about it -- and for sure offer your help when the emergencies start. But at that time, the people in your "community" have to work towards the common goal. If they just want to party or suck the life out of those around them, they should be encouraged to find another place to mooch.

Didn't read the whole thread, I'll admit it. Two observations:

1. I love Shaun of the Dead, but... it's a comedy. And the Winchester didn't work out too well for them, did it?
2. The bank vault idea worked for the few Reaver attack survivors on Lilac in Serenity.

Hm, yes the bank vault worked for them. However, I was thinking gee... it's a local spot that a ton of locals know. Chances are, it will be taken by the time you get there. Even if it isn't (depending on the disaster) it might not help at all.
She is my friend, but I have the feeling 'Fair weather' should be attached to that at some point. Her 'prepping' consists of maybe 2 weeks of food with little to no water storage and everything must be plugged in to be used. So... yeah.
Thank you all for your insights. I will gently nudge to help with information as much as I can, however, you're right. I cannot hold her hand every step of the way.
