I paid $600 for it which included a picatinny on top for a scope mount ($100+ value), and got a case and some other used stuff thrown in. The tag said "crack in stock" which we could NOT find until I mounted the bipod and it pulled out the second front sling mount out. The previous owner did a half A$$ job trying to fix it, I got it done with some highend epoxy I have here. I love this gun. I looked at the new ones while my buddy bore sighted it, I did not like the feel of the new civilian/hunting 700's glad I found this one. I would look for the older firearms as the quality of newer ones seems to be not as good (as with every other consumer items "race to the bottom")
