Anyone know if this was released in the US under another name? I'd like to get it via Netflix but "Threads" does not come up in a Netflix search.

There is a black and white film called the Wargame is far more brutal and realistic. There was a scene near the end of the film where they are interview children who survived the atomic war and they had become apathetic. Very creepy. You can also look for a British tv show called the Survivors it ran three seasons 75-77. It was about a plague that kills of all but 10,000 people in Britain. The survivors were mostly from the middle class hardly any of the survivor knew anything about farming and the canned food began to run out.

PBS runs it every once in a while here in Western New York.

I remember renting it on VHS many years ago. Haven't been able to find it on DVD though.

Greetings,

There are many ways to watch DVDs of other regions. Here is what I do:

1 - I use DVDFab Decrypter (Free) and RIP the DVD on my hard drive in folder A1. It will remove the region security.
2 - I use CloneDVD (But you can use the good old free DVD Script) to read/compress to 4.5 Gigabytes the files from folder A1 to folder A2 or CloneDVD can write directly with CloneDVD on a blank DVD.
3 - Enjoy and watch the movie on your TV.

Thank you
