And that is no surprise. The country is full of them.

Unfortunately, he can threaten all he wants, but even if the House _does_ impeach, I doubt the Senate will convict. It feels right to impeach, but with this Senate, it's a largely symbolic act.

Default GOP Congressman threatens Impeachment

99.9% of politicians are full of hot air, and these are just words but he's dead on with the Constitutional Rights. Maybe he's behind the Anonymous post I watched here earlier! If the politicians only had the balls to follow through.

And this quote from the article says it best.:

"Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible," he said. "Under no circumstances whatsoever may the government take any action that disarms any peaceable person — much less without due process through an executive declaration without a vote of Congress or a ruling of a court."

True but better to do the right thing and let history and the constituents judge the Senate.

That Obama is a tyrant is clear. His whole Obamacare ploy proved that beyond any reasonable doubt. That the SCOTUS ruled based on unlimited power to tax shows our servants are unhinged to any constraints by the constitution or otherwise. Never has our country been so vulnerable to enemies within, tyranny couched in "good intentions," tyranny protected by twisted guilt of racism, tyranny encouraged by those who believe the beast can do their bidding and by the media, courts, and low information voter.

I agree that doing the right thing for its own reasons is right, but it just feels so futile at times. There are so many right things that can and should be done, but beyond appearances, won't actually accomplish anything.

I fear that options that can actually be productive are quickly being narrowed to one and that is frightening. It's such a failure of everything this country is based on that when the citizenry must stand with their backs against the wall with no options but violence.

Does the tree need to be watered? It seems so, but, darn it, it didn't have to be this way. Why are so many blind? Bread & circuses haven't lost their effectiveness. The line should have been drawn long ago before it got to this desperate point. It's just so much easier to be a taker while assuming the government knows best and will always have your best in mind.

I just want to scream & weep. So much hope, so many possibilities, and we end up here. God help us otherwise Samuel Colt must

If they didn't impeach him for assassinating two US citizens, they won't impeach him for this.

Probably true, but I AM glad to hear that at least some politicians see the madness in what's going on nonetheless.

Silence is an oppressors friend. Those afraid to speak out for their cause have already been subdued or truly believe they are secret warriors in waiting. Unfortunately, it's usually an indefinite wait.

Let him take a number and stand in line with all the others who think they have the proof needed.

Default Obama Supporters.

They're willing to let the country be destroyed for their utopian delusions.

As my attorney once said, "if I had a dollar for every time someone threatened to sue, I could have retired a long time ago".

Simply put, it is one thing to threaten whatever you want. However, it's a totally different story to actually follow through.

We have made a difference with all the phone calls, letters and emails. It may not look like it but now we have states proposing nulification acts, and even finally talking impeachment, so someone has listened. I would say we have gotten someone's attention. Now is not the time to sit back and watch. The gun-grabbers sure won't be. Keep up the pressure folks. Keep emailing and calling your state and federal reps.

I'm proud to think of Texas as a "brother state".
I feel the same. Everywhere I went in Texas I was met with friendly jokes about NY, like, they hate us about as much as they hate you areound the rest of the country. Never thought of it that way before.....

I could move to Houston, Austin, Galvaston in a second. San Antonio, not so much.....

Good drive to NoLo.

I share your frustration very deeply. There is a great quote from Patrick Henry that says only by firm reliance on fundamental principles can a free country endure. So many are blind b/c doing the right thing is seldom the easy thing.

Also, if you read The Circle of Freedom by Alexander Tytler, The Fate of Empires by Sir John Glubb and The Decline of the West by Oswald Spengler, it explains how and why our culture is dying.
