My wife and kids were evacuated, but I had to stay... work stuff... watching them drive away into the craziness was very difficult. She handled herself pretty well, I am a lucky man. We are looking at land in Penn Valley now, so we may be closer than than you think!!

54 years in Auburn. It aint like it was when i was a kid, but its still pretty fair compared to neighboring towns. If ur still in Dobbins, stay there, at least ya aint gonna wash away anytime soon. I have a few friends in elk grove and folsom that are underwater even without Oroville breaking, yet.

That stat sheet for ccw permits? All you gotta do is look at the bottom to know that those numbers are BS.

I'm glad your wife and kids are out. That dam is very scary. I'm having a hard time believing what they're saying about it being safe. It doesn't look safe to me.

I'm considering Penn Valley as well! Lol We could definitely be neighbors.

Agreed, Solano gives out lots more CCw's than Contra Costa county.
