Default New Russian sanctions getting through the House unchanged?

Senate has a near unanimous vote on tougher sanctions against Russia and limiting the presidents power to roll back sanctions. 98 to 2 vote with only Rand and Bernie voting no.

Seen reports that the WH is asking House GOP to soften the bill and Tillerson saying he'd be displeased with something that would hamper our ability to improve relations. I can certainly see his point of view.

Will be mighty interesting to see what way the House goes with this. In this day and age getting that kind of bipartisan Senate support for a bill has got to be rare. I wonder if trump would veto it as it lessens the executive branch's power in favor of congress.

It's industry policy to support US gas/ fracking companies against EU and Russian energy companies.

It's just the beginning of the trade wars with Europe.

This is precisely what I would do.

I am absolutely furious with the GOP crapweasels in congress who are fighting thenTrump agenda after rubber stamping everything Obama wanted for 8 years.

GOP leadership (McConnell and Ryan) must be voted out even if it means letting the seats go democrat for a cycle.
