my father has an old harrington&richardson break down .22 hornet .the hornet seems to be a very fast hard hitting round and will make quick work of groundhogs I think its a pretty good round. have any of you ever had dealings with this round?
Some ranchers here still use the 22 Hornet for coyote control because it has a mild report and it's range is less than say a 223 or 22-250. It has more punch than a 22 mag. It is a good light varmint round though factory ammo is getting expensive.
