I got 500 high knees tomorrow. These are not easy and quite a wake up. Got me breathing and feeling good however. When I'm not pressed for time I do push-ups, elliptical and or maybe kettlebell swings after . Tomorrow I'm pressed for time with kids basketball before my 18 hour shift so it'll just be high knees. Gotta work in some hip flexor stretches.

Not much of a chance in me getting 900 non stop reps in, not now anyway!

Stretching would be a smart thing for me to do, I don't do much of it.

Todays work...
High knees goal 900reps, Done. 7 sets to complete it. (x160-160-80-100-100-160-140) Really didn't feel all that bad.

BW dips x5-5-5-11-15-5-20 (these didn't feel good)

(15) Db curls (did these just to get some blood pumping into arms to help with the dips)
4x20

Over head press (KB & DB) (each side)
(24kg) x5
(32kg) x5
(85) x1-3
(24kg) x12

(50) Pipelift (shoveling) x4 singles each side.

High knees x200 (5 sets)

rear Db lunge (15) 5x5

Abs x31 total reps in 5 sets

misc push ups 20x5

~12 min total.

Had some pretty sore knees last night, I really need to get into lunges slow and light I guess.

Tomorrow is 1100 high knees. Today is the halfway point of this challenge...wish it was over.

I don't blame you, that has to be a killer.. My abs hurt thinking about it.

Just think though, you'll have done some great work for your abs/midsection.

You're knocking out the high knees. Almost there. I'm at 700 today. Have a long busy day tomorrow so I did my 600 yesterday followed by the 700 today. I'll string together my 2 200 rep days on my long work days 16 and 18 hour days, over the next two days. This thing is pretty brutal. My right knee is aching from the repetition. Getting there. I like the simplicity of this with my hectic schedule.

On day 16 of 30 day challenge...getting tired of it already. I have a short attention span.

Today was the biggest day so far, 1,100 reps for the high knees.

Warm up
Bear crawls ~136 feet in 2 sets

Walking lunge (15) 68' in 2 sets

High knees x1,100 in 8 sets

(hurt my left ankle on about rep 30 of first set, not fun. Because of it I just finished up and did nothing else)

Don't give up now, it's all down hill from here, and you can feel good about meeting the challenge.

NEVER quit...

Today being an "easy day for high knees" I just worked some general stuff.

crunch 2x10
PU 2x10
SQ 2x10

(32) Bulgy bag spin 2x15 each direction

High Knee 2x100

1 Db curl (45) x7-5-10

(46) Bulgy bag spin 3x10 ea. direction

Hip raise 2x30

Nothing very interesting, I want something and I'm not sure what it is...

Just did the high knees today, and some stretching afterwards...

High knees x1,200. Did it in 16 sets, and 14:27 time. None of them felt good today.

Those 1200 were no fun.

Today was a light day for high knees, so I tried to get as much other stuff in as I could as I can't do much else with the high rep days now.

Started with a lot of misc movements, mostly rhythmic swinging of arms/legs getting all the joints limbered up.

High knees x100-80-20 (spread out during other exercises)

1 DB C/P (45) x3-3-3-3-3 each side.

1 Db bentover row (45) x10-10-10-10 each side.

24kg KB Goblet SQ 3x10

1 Db curl (45) x3-5-6

1 DB C/P
(65) 2x3 each side
(85) x1-2 each side

Head strap work
(20) x15
(52) x15
(20) x30

1 Db curl (65) x11 each side

Misc Push ups x30-10-20-15-11-15

High knees, 1300 rep day, 10 sets to complete. Felt slightly better than the last big rep day.

Misc warm ups

(15) Db walking lunge x2 sets of 34'

High knees 200reps (4x50)

Pipe lift (shoveling) (25) x3-5-10-10 (each side)

Bulgy bag spin (46) 4x10

finished up with some misc handstand work (when I do handstand pushups I do them against a wall, I'd like to be able to do a few free standing, so started to work the balance more).

I wish I had the balance to be able to do that, I've never been coordinated that way.

High knees x1400. Did it in 7 sets! (could have been 6 as one set was just 20 reps to even up the count) ~12-13 min. Felt really good some how.

That was it for today, aside from some stretches.
