If you could hit with it I think it would out perform the daisy, in side 30 or 40 feet. But most folks I know cant hit with them consistently enough. And the smaller the target, as well as the harder you throw the worse it gets. That said, if one dedicates them selves to it they can get pretty good.
They are not in English, but one gets the idea. On the dummy, they are getting pretty consistent hits on the head. So for most folks the Daisey may be better until they get the hang of it. Notice most of their shots are up hill ? Tough stuff right there.

A slingshot is a great weapon. The SF guys have been known to use it down range now and then. One in particular told me "ever take a quarter ounce metal ball bearing to the nads at 100mph? Or one to the face? You don't want to. I know a couple 'hajjis' down range that'll testify to that!"

Also a sling bow can beat a vest with a broad head on it,a bullet won't
