The title of this section is "2012 Discussion on the 2012 predictions"... I say keep it and discuss it all we want! I think 2012 was a big eye opener for a lot of people.

It would be really nice to have a "how to rebuild society in event of collapse" section. I know that laying low would be what most would do in the beginning, but in a total collapse rebuilding would be needed. It also would make us not just look like crazy people bent on destruction.

I was trying to think past beginner level anyway. Get past the phase of "have stuff to live" and get to the point of how to live the life we are so bent on preserving.

My two cents.

How about "2029" Or "Scientific Predictions and Other Prophesies" since the asteroid Apophis is due for (hopefully) a near miss (potentially a collision with earth) on its next fly by (it should be visible during the day).

This is much more of a concern than having to turn the last page of a stone age calender.

Of course we could also worry about Nostradamus' prediction of the chinese invasion of Italy; or has that one expired too?

We could name it "wear a golden pyramid on your head" . For those that achieve a "higher whatever hello thingy" by wearing those things. I seen a lady at the mall wearing one at first i thought it was headgear for sever dental stuff, but as she got closer i realized she was just a had case....
