i know that the military pre geneva convention had a tri edged trench knife. but they where outlawed for warfare because they produced a wound that was very hard to stop blood loss or suture so they where deemed inhumane. is anyone producing this type of dagger currently ? or models availeble on the used market? i don't know much about them ,any info would be helpfull

Just get a spare folding SKS bayonet.

You just push down, pull the bolt and it's a nice blade. They use to sell them in bundles for tent pegs.

You can make a variety of handles for it...but why would anyone need such a thing?

I didn't know anyone threw them:

You can use PVC pipe for scabbards...but again, why would anyone need such a thing?

There's no cutting edge, there's no utility to these things.

Pig stickers. They do a lot of it here.

Now having said that pretty much everybody uses daggers. Muelay, buffalo river and di*ck mostly.

But I do know people who will sharpen up screwdrivers and condor does a pipe knife.

cold steel does the delta dart.

And if you are carrying a knife around for killing people then mabye a choice as well.

My great grandfather's bayonet from when he lived in Switzerland before WW2 looked a lot like this, my Dad still has it
The steel is amazing, years of just being on the wall and still shiny, no rust at all.
The leather on the scabbard is starting to really go sadly
But the scalloped tri-edge that comes to such a fine point would not feel much resistance going into a body that's for sure!
Funny that the Geneva Convention banned things from Switzerland too

Made of fiberglass injected nylon, IE non-magnetic

This also comes in the "Honeycomb". Same item, only it is hidden inside a round hairbrush head. Quickly and easily deployed for use. I have purchased several of them for female friends and family members as an easy way to have a form of protection, in situations where a gun or knife isn't feasible (such as at certain workplaces).
