A Martini, done just as Churchill did: Pour the Gin into the glass, then gaze fondly at the Vermouth, resting on the windowsill over there, just for a moment. Then, enjoy your Martini.
Oh man, this is a tough one. I like beer, but I drink expensive stuff. 15-20 bucks a 4 pack. I would not know where to begin, I have a lot of variety, and drink it according to my meals or mood. But, I do not have more than 1 or two. An every day drinker for me varies from St Pauli Girl Dark, Heineken, Leinenkugels Creamy Dark. For some reason I like hard ciders with pizza.
Harder stuff, crown and coke, kraken and coke, vanilla vodka and rootbeer. A few other norms.
Craft beer guy here. Fortunate enough to have five or six great breweries close to my house, two of which can many of their beers so I always have a local six pack or two in the fridge.
I also love bourbon and a good single malt scotch but haven't had either in years. Favorites bourbon is Bookers, favorite scotch is Lagavulin.
Bells brewery and the university I go to are in the same town. You should also founders centennial IPA and New Holland's IPA if you can find iron your area. I'm going to miss Michigan's craft beer selection when I move away.
I love a good single malt...but you aren't coming close to tasting all it has to offer if you don't cut it a bit with a little room temperature water. The alcohol content is too high out of the bottle to get all the flavor notes.
