Old saying - if you need something, be responsible for your needs and supply them yourself. No one is entitled to have somoene else do their preps for them!!

I looked at the list of goodies, and thought - I'm grateful that ST gave us a list so we could build a kit like that as well! To me... THAT was the gift he gave ALL of us! And now I have a good initial list to build up kits for my grandkids, just so they have a minikit of their own!!!

BTW - do you have a link to the "infamous Chalkline Fishing kit" Sounds intriugung!!!

Thanks Susanna! I took a lot of ribbing for it when I put it together,
but it turned out to actually function. I never put it to use, but with
40' of Spiderwire, I don't think it's going to be a problem. I've caught
small mouth bass using old Coke bottles and line that I'd recover from
the trees and along the shores in Wisconsin. I couldn't afford fishing gear.
I was Po (so poor, I couldn't even afford the "or" at the end of poor! LOL).

"The Infamous Chalkline Fishing Kit"

And I'm pretty sure I got more out of this than I'm giving.
I'm inspired. Like I said, I'm going to be putting together
a similar kit for kids/youngbloods. Feel free to enter on their
behalf please!

Default thanks

I received the bag Monday night when I checked the mail. I have to say the caulk line fishing reel is a great idea. I added a couple of lighters and a pill bottle of dryer lint and two sets of coats, gloves and hats to the bag and into the wife’s car it went Thanks Again
