We took a walk around our mountain property (~28 acres in north eastern Washington state, maybe zone 6?) and noticed two types of berries.
One with red berries and smooth leaves growing fairly tall (4 to 5 feet) and the other lower to the ground (maybe a foot) with serrated leaves and green berries.
Maybe red huckleberries and mountain huckleberries?
If so, yay! I like me some huckleberry ice cream or pie.
Looks like they might not be ready to pick for a month or more?
