Since you opened up the parameters, I decided to post the whole custom list. I posted some of these earlier, but I've consolidated the list and am too lazy to strip out the older stuff.

Compiled custom equipment ideas list:

Quality first and foremost. Suitability to the task, multi-purpose if possible, finally light weight.


Custom Main Battle Rifle (7.62x51 MBR): adjustable gas piston select fire action with non-reciprocating ambidextrous charging handle, auto hold open on empty magazine. Ambidextrous bolt release. Ambidextrous safety. Forward assist. M-14 stripper clip guide and M-14 sights. 22” barrel with the tri-compensator of the BM-59/62 with bayonet lug to take a custom 12” OKC-3S style bayonet. A full length barrel-in-line polymer stock with pistol grip and integrated picatinny rails that don’t interfere with the stripper clip feed. Accept a bipod. Sort of a just for fun type of firearm.

Imagine the following: You get a replacement, longer barrel for a Glock, the pistol, with the longer barrel fits into a dummy housing that replicates any of a number of submachineguns.

Suppose a pistol fit into a dummy housing similar to this hinge opening submachinegun.



This way you'd have a legal rifle with the look and feel of a submachinegun, still fed from it's pistol grip, with a dummy magazine forward, but at least within the package that doesn't provide an awkardly long barrel extending way, way beyond the firearm. (Actually, the dummy housing.)

A monocular style eye piece that is hooked up to my guns pictinny rail, that acts as a sight, and has nightvision capabilitys.

Could shoot accuratly around corners, and would be much cheaper than a nightvision scope.

Use something like a camera for your car that is for backing up, I have seen several on ebay for around 30$ and they have nightvision, but mount it on your gun, and have a wire going from it to a very small screen that you could mount like an eye piece/monocle.

Not sure the range of vision, but it would definatly be handy for corners, and much cheaper than a night vision scope.

just my 2 cents. would take an entire redesign because of oal. of 7.62x54r and 8mm. 7.62x54r and 8mm cycling out of being surplus military rounds. 8mm already there. be safe.
