Only people I ever see with red dot are young dudes with tats that are low level, work at the range guys sweeping up brass.

I'm fine with dots, as is my ex-mil wife. BUT, we both agree that you should learn your weapon with iron sites. The dot is extra credit.

wont ever shoot without a dot again. Eyes aren't what they used to be and when I can group 4" at thirty yards........ it becomes a no brainer.

I suspect in 10 or maybe 15 years every police duty pistol will have a dot – if for no other reason that you can tack maybe $200 per unit to the price.

Look at ‘hot rod’ classes in the various cops and robbers shooting games – all the big dogs run an optic.
