A small sprinkle of salt as an abrasive makes this work even better on your hands

Used it in the water tanks of our vol fire trucks as a wetting agent and light foam.
It wets dry grass and wood better then just water.
Many of the people in that small town had garden hoses with sprayers with tanks full of dawn for fires.

I used it at the gold mine i was running and added it to the mill water to break down oil that got into the ore and could have caused the gold to float.

You can buy dawn Detergent in 5 gallon buckets for these and other uses.

Mix epson salts with hot water add some blue dawn and it kills weeds pretty good.. The dawn helps coat the weeds with the mixture.

I have used it for years in commercial kitchen work and it works great. Definitely better than the pink soap we would typically use. Also cleaning grease and grime from working on the car off my hands etc. I'm glad this got posted I want to grab a few bottles to my stock. It's absolutely the best and cheaper than many brands.

Similar to DXTexasCowboy said.... my dad was told to mix dawn with fungus and bug spray when spraying apple trees. Helped to keep the spray stuck to the leaves/apples longer and even when lightly rained on. You could do that with Roundup or any another spray to extend it staying power.
