LGS had one and I was all set to lay down some money...unfortunately the slide wouldn't rack. It was broken right out of the box

But, I still played with it a bit, and the big take away for me were the big honking sights. They would be good for quick acquisition but I just didn't care for them....Not sure what I was expecting from a pocket gun I guess. The XDS sights just work better for me but not a big deal.

The P51 doesn't have much in common with a glock other than caliber and the fact they both aren't revolvers.

That's cool if you don't like Glocks, it's an individual taste, but you have just blocked out about half of the handgun market if you don't want polymer or striker fired.

The R51 has a metal frame and slide and is hammer fired.

I believe the frame is cast aluminum to be exact. And I know that it is a hammer fired Single Action Only.

Good supply of Rem 51s on Gunbroker for a good week or more. I'd like to check one out but my Kahr CW9's are perfect for single stack CCW autos.

I just saw this.

Remington has a lot of work to do. I have seen more negative hands on reviews than positive. I honestly don't think I've seen one positive since the original press release. I had high hopes for this gun, and I still do, but I think its going to be another generation before I buy one. If I do at all.
