On the surface, certainly odd bookshelf neighbors...But if you look closely at the book with the Swastika , it is "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich", which is considered one of the definitive scholarly works on the political, social and economic conditions in post WW1 Germany that led to the rise of the Nazi party.

If ever one wants more than the History Channels 4th grade level version of said time period, it is an excellent book.

PS- So is the book beside it.

I didnt touch them - the paper jacket was in German - I doubt if it was an original ?

I tried to read through Mein Kampf many years ago -- I did read most of it -- run on sentence's and a lot of contradictions

I should read the other one -- sometime

King James - I think -- a wee-bit different from mine
