Are these the same:iOSAT vs Potassium Iodine
I am looking to add more iOSAT or equivalent to my preps.
I was looking on amazon and found the one I already have some of the iOSAT Potassium Iodide Tablets, 130 mg (14 Tablets) http://www.amazon.com/iOSAT-Potassiu...tassium+iodide and one that is about 1/5th the price and in bulk Potassium Iodide Capsules, 130 mg 120 Capsules http://www.amazon.com/Potassium-Iodi...tassium+iodide I have included the links and from what I can tell they both do the same, I would appreciate any input. Thanks |

yeah same thing. I believe that iOSAT is the brand that the FDA uses, so I went with that one. if its good enough for the higher powers, its good enough for me.
Only three brands of potassium iodide (KI) have been approved by the FDA for radiation exposure - IOSAT, ThyroShield and Thyrosafe.
