PROTEST Feb 8 in NY

Hopefully all New York gun owners and freedom lovers are spreading the word that there is going to be a big protest rally in Albany, NY on February 8th. I know a lot of the industry in NY and gun shops are sending employees to participate.

It is the first day Cuomo will be sitting in his office since signing that Draconian law.

WE NEED TO STAND TOGETHER. Keep writing your elected officials, keep signing petitions like this one: (which reached over 100,000 signatures in 6 days and is still rising!!!)

New York is the front line in this conflict. S2230-2013 was the fist volley. If we can oppose it here it will not spread. If we lose here other states will follow.

A Buffalo attorney is compiling a list of NY firearms owners to file a class action suit against the State, because the law renders property legally held illegal forcing the owner to surrender or dispose of said property. This violates the law, ever hear of ex post facto, as well as constitutional principles.

He is also researching other aspects of the law to file against.

Seriously I hope everyone is spreading the word about ways to fight back! I hope all fellow gun owners from adjoining states as well as New Yorkers show up in mass on February 8th. Many gun owners state "FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!" And COME AND TAKE THEM! But those are just words to many. How many chances like this in one's lifetime are presented. A true chance to help make a difference, to help stand against tyranny. Lines for once have been drawn and sides chosen. Stand with us, UNITED! Join together on the 8th as New Yorkers gather to demand our very freedom.

I think if you'll check your state might be doing the same thing, i know they are doing it here in Oregon on the 8th of FEB at the capital building in Salem Ore.

No don't mind at all I am hoping people are spreading the word. Facebook, twitter, any social media. The left might control the main stream but can't control the Internet.... Yet.

We truly must stand together, Albany is not that big a city an influx of 10,000 or more people (my hopes) would make travel a nightmare and would have to get recognition. All those that want to fight the system scream about what they will have to do to get your guns. Remember our founding fathers first risked their lives, and lively hoods to send petitions, to speak out, to take on the Brits through every non violent means they had. Why are so many not willing to do the same.

there are simular protests across the country, the media is ignoring them same as they will yours......just keep moving forword.

I'd be on the lookout of someone starting trouble trying to draw fire from the protest to "show" how gun people (and therefore guns) are nasty. I hope nobody does anything silly like be baited into anger.
