Rep. Stockman threatens to impeach Obama over gun control

Rep. Steve Stockman threatened on Monday to defund the White House and potentially file impeachment charges if President Obama pushes forward with gun control measures without congressional approval.

The Texas Republican called Mr. Obama's plans to skirt Congress and implement some controls administratively "an unconstitutional and unconscionable attack on the very founding principles of this republic."

"I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment," Mr. Stockman said.

Stockman is 100% correct and King Obama should be impeached if he goes against not only the Constitution but the Bill of Rights.. Obama is suppose to be a student (expert) of our Constitution...
The 2nd Ammendment was written to keep the Goverment from having to much control over this Nation, if England had enacted gun control we would all still be paying to much tax. (????)

I'd love to see Obama impeached for so many things he's done over the last 4 years but that would mean President Biden. Ugh!

Plus, the odds of it getting through the Senate or darn near zero.

If Obama uses an EO, it'll probably be to tax guns/ammo out of existence and perfectly legal.

Remember, fully automatic weapons and silencers aren't banned. Just taxed/licensed/regulated into near oblivion in the civilian world.

Unconstitutional. You have to know that the founding Fathers WANTED us to be EQUALLY armed as the government. We The People should have tanks and fighter jets to be honest. And we do. But an enemy government has commandeered them for it's purposes of oppression.

That is how far we've already been "infringed".

We have the unalienable right to bear arms.
Making ammo or guns unaffordable INFRINGES that right.
