The Internet provides much cover, concealment and opportunity for deception, but this is a fantastic means of exposing someone in a future discussion as a person who bought into nonsense and is serously faulty in his thought processes.

It's a great means who showing who isn't credible in preparedness.

I keep several lists of names too. It's handy alright.

Not entirely sure what your are referring to. Obviously gun owners and enthusiasts are NOT all evil people. Most, like most people in general, are actually on the opposite end of the spectrum. However, there are always sickos in every group.

I didn't think the world would end, but I was concerned about the large amount of people who did. Stupid people in large numbers... you know? On that day, I was prepped and ready. I didn't head out. Honestly though, I'm glad nobody seemed to go crazy.

I'll be honest: I genuinely thought the world was going to end a on the 21st when I first heard about the 2012 "theories" in 2006 or so. I believed it for quite some time. Once 2010 or 2011 rolled around and nothing was on fire/zombie infested/utterly destroyed and there was no sign of Nibiru, I realized how silly the whole thing was. I hope I'm not that gullible about anything else.

I never believed in the ancient Mayan predictions: if they could see the future they would have killed the Spaniards in their sleep.

I did worry about the fiscal cliff and other government lunacies. I believed that the timing was coincidental, but I still found much to talk about with the 2012'ers! And also a fair amount of good advice.
