I was chatting with a few different gentlemen today at Cabelas (they had several hundred boxes of Herters on hand this morning, both FMJ and JHP) and they swore by the place, I suppose they might have been the lucky ones. I ordered 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 off them today, I guess I'll see if I get hosed or not lol

When I was looking to purchase some ammo from them I looked up a few reviews. I found several people talking about getting the WRONG ammo, and then the guy giving them a hard time on getting the problem corrected. It was enough to scare me off, just letting you guys know. could be a fine operation, I just found enough stuff to keep me from giving him my payment info, I'll pay a couple pennies more for the security from a site like Bass Pro Shop or Brownelles ect......

Thanks for posting info about ammo/mags and weapon availability. We may only have until the end of the month to get our houses in order. I already have enough, but it's the younger folks and those who are new to prepping who can use the timely info to fill out their rosters. Remember, the President has said that he wants a bill on his desk by the end of the month. After that, it's anybody's guess. Let's help out our side as much as we can and share any good intel we get about these items becoming available at reasonable prices (for this situation).

Hmm. Interested to see if I will get those mags you posted. I saw that posted on SlickGuns about a hour ago and ordered 5 mags when it was still accepting orders. I wonder if I made it in time. Hopefully their inventory tracking is real time.

I just got my 5 pmags in the mail from cabelas, they shipped next business day after I ordered. 16.99 each.
