They gotta find you to fine dude. Rangers dont randomly walk thru the bush looking for illegal campers.
Seriously though, if you arnt damaging the trees i cant see any reason why you wouldnt be allowed to hammock camp. I see folks tying tarps, tents and hanging things off trees at campsites all the time. Hell, i see folks NAILING things to trees and they aint fined. The only things rangers are concerned about is fire, rubbish and collecting site fees. Just do it man you'll be fine. All the rangers i've ever dealt with have been have been very down to earth reasonable types. |
