I recently purchased the 5.11 rush 72 and there is no MOLLE on the bottom to attach a sleep system! I love the pack but this kills me! Does anyone here have any experience removing MOLLE from one pack and sewing it onto another? Do you think this would be durable and hold up over time? Thanks in advance!

Well I actually think the reason it is like that is because it has holes for drainage just in case your water bladder is punctured or popped...so in result anything below it would then get wet...

Or a combination of both!

One inch webbing cut to the length that you need. You want a nylon weave tight. You can buy it at JoAnns Fabric or a multitude of Fabric or Hobby Stores. Have it sewn on the bottom of the pack and have the ends that are sewn on sewn with a box stitch. You can do it by hand or have a local taylor or seamstress do it.
I have a lot of custom work done for gear we sell. Anything you can imagine can be created to fit your needs. |
