Indeed they are. How many times do we have to repeat history before people finally realize that the liberal tax & spend entitlement scheme does NOT work?!

California is a blue liberal state. California does a lot of what the Obama administration wants to do nationally. California is billions of dollars in debt, just like our government. Hmmmm...coincidence?

California middle and lower class citizens VOTED this system into place to keep their medi-cal and other entitlements. They are getting the government they asked for and deserve....and yes, they're the deadbeats. They want everything free, handed to them. Don't believe me? Spend a day at the unemployment lines, or at a pharmacy, with the food stamp crowd holding their Louis Vitton purses. See it all the time....

I don't live in California, but I feel it too, been watching the earthquake sites almost 24/7.
Cannot shake the feeling that something BIG and scarey and not humanly avoidable is about to happen.
Maybe it's wishful thinking?

For my part I hope it doesn't happen, I am moving back to that area in January. I lived in So. CA for 25 years before coming back home to care for Dad for a while. Fires, quakes, riots... every place has its problems.
But... when you look around the ring of fire it is a bit odd they way CA keeps getting passed over for the 6.0+ quakes and larger. I wonder if the others are lessening the pressure for CA or if it is building up to a really large one. Time will tell!!

Ermm... you might want to look into the plate just off the NW coast of the US, how it's "caught" under the other plate and building pressure, and what it's going to do when that pressure releases.

You couldn't pay me to be in California anytime within the next 500 years.

It doesn't feel related to the Dec 2012 calendar thing or the fact that Obama was reelected, but rather to a huge earthquake in Southern California. I've been obsessed with watching the earthquake sites. Not like me at all.
We are in the far NE part of the state and I feel we are safe, but so worried about the others.
Just wondering if anyone else is feeling anything in regards to S. California.
It's the holiday season coming up. Relax... Have some turkey. Seriously, since you are obsessing over earthquake sites its no wonder you are so worried. Get away from them for a while. Its just your subconcious ruling your concious mind.
