New Mayan stone reference to 2012 confirmed by Mexican archaeologists

There is a book on amazon that goes into detail, on this subject. HE/She/it is a life form.

I can't recall it I'll look through my archived E-books and post the name once I remember.

Suffice to say that there is an old man who tells his story to his grand child who doesn't believe it. Then the government gets interested in him, 2012 is approaching and a huge mass is seen entering the solar system but begins decelerating.

Vectorwoman. You are right. I thought that was the only thing to worry about too, but then I thought, " Why would this be sent out on the airwaves?". You gotta think, it is all controlled by the media/govt. EVERYTHING, even talk radio. Rush limbagh and the rest are paid. Just to feed both sides.They personnaly have no clue, and if they personally did, they will not air it. The bottom line is, it is a smokescreen to prevent panic. Prepping is what is wanted. There IS an event coming, uncontrollable by us on this planet, that will make some adjustments to the way things are.

Nobody that has a clue ever said it would be the end of this world. If everyone would just do some research on the subject, instead of popping in and saying something to assuage their own insecurities or fear with some comment or statement that makes them look like a child. Its like a bullet that thinks it is on its way to the target, but it hits nothing but the reflection on the water. Wasted effort. This event has been happening every 5128 years or so. Wake up folks. Time to face the music.

That's OK, there will be another TEOTWAWKI scare in a couple of years. Global ice age--no wait--global warming--no wait--magnetic pole inversion--no, it'll be the Rapture...whatever.

I prepare just in case, but I'm really not sure what will happen, just that it's far more likely that there will someday be a crisis than not, and I want to survive as long as possible so my children have a chance to live.

Yes, the calaendar continues (news flash!!!! yup, no different form the Gregorian)

it cycles every once in a while - like ours does every 365 days (except leap year...), but the Mayans plotted thuings out to the order of thousands of years, instead of just one, and no different form "the dawning of the Age of Aquarius" a new Age is upon us, and so, some "change" is afoot (IMO).

I am trying to say: it is not the end of the world - it is the end of an Age...

There have been many, there will be many...

So, could this end of an Age be a little traumatic? Sure, why not? Could this end of an Age usher in some new paradigms for our way of living, sure, why not? Is it the end of all of us, most certainly not !!! - even the Mayans/Aztecs/Hopis/Cayces/Mother Shiptons had to concede: things do carry on, and that's why I don't get bent about the World dissappearing from under my feet, but I am prepping to live through some interesting times...
