I've been watching this closely for the past year or so, particularly since Obama snubbed Netanyahu.

Ahmidenijad is losing support among his own coalition--he tried to overstep his bounds with the mullahs, and those who used to support him have figured out if they want to live and not end up in prison, they need to back away from him.

Netanyahu understands Obama's lack of support for Israel. He's no fool. He's had a lifetime of living in a country that has been under some sort of threat constantly and he knows who he can count on and who he can't.

I posted a link to a story a week or so ago about Netanyahu's October Surprise.

Read the linked story and I guarantee the only reason the Obama regime is worried that Netanyahu might act is that it would have an impact on the election. Can't fish for Jews anymore the way he fished for gays the other day.

OBAMA
Obama doesn't want it to, for obvious re-election reasons. I'm not sold on the US believing Iran has/wants nukes. If we REALLY believed Iran was trying to build nukes (regardless of whether they are or arent) we wouldn't be willing to make concessions on a civilian nuke program. If our gov't really thought there was a chance they were building warhead nukes, negotiations wouldn't even come up. And yet for some reason, there's whispers of conceding to a civilian program.

Bibi DOES want it to AND knows BHO doesn't, hence the recent unity gov't move in Israel. Netanyahu knows he'll get no help from the US so it looks as if he's deciding whether or not to do it himself. Is he willing to go it alone? The answer to this question = the answer to the War question.

it's very sad for america when a another country, Isreal decideds what wars we will fight and not the congress, who is supposed to have the power to declare war.

so, if Isreal tells the US to go finish what they started, we will do just that, and we will allow Isreal to actually tell us what to do.

If Isreal starts the war than Isreal should fight it all by themselves.

I'm a history buff and Iran reminds me of a certain European country during the 1930s. And all these people who say Iran isn't interested in the bomb reminds me of Neville Chamberlain.

I dont understand where the world gets off telling Israel who it can and cant attack?

If they think they can step up to the plate let them, I think Israel needs to protect itself.

Lets say Mexico was as extreme to us as Iran is to Israel then I bet you we would have already been there and done that, and most of you would be waving a flag in support.

Rextex hit the nail on the head. For those who think Obama will order the US to charge in, think again. Go read the recent news headlines on some of the Israeli news sites, not the US news sites. Obama is/was more interested in building support from his "Arab Spring" buddies, virtually all of who now call for the eradication of Israel. In case anyone hasn't noticed, the Camp David accord is just about dead. What better way for Obama to solve what Hitler called "The Final Solution to the Jewish Problem"--stir up radical muslim sentiment throughout the middle east and then step back and watch the fallout while continuing to fund Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood to the tune of tens of millions of dollars. (Like having your taxpayer funds go to them?) Obama would stand by and do nothing but spew platitudes about his so-called 'support' for Israel. He's not a friend of Israel; his policies show it, his treatment of Netanyahu shows it, and his silence on the issue shows it.

Netanyahu knows where Israel stands with the US. He has a lifetime of statesmanship and experience with muslims extremists. Obama has zero.

Israel has an inherint right to it's soverignty, just like the US and every other nation. No one has the right to tell them if, when, or how they can protect themselves. Netanyahu is simply taking actions he and his nation have to in order to remain alive as a state and a people.

Edited to add--I would seriously suggest further education for some people. They show a fundamental lack of understanding of the situation.
