I got my ESEE-6 today.

For anyone who's interested in one, Chestnut Knife Shop gave me the best
deal and I had it in 3 days for $126./shipped (and that's with the sheath).

I cut myself with it on purpose because I wanted to have that little baptism
of blood that some others have experienced. Anyway, I haven't worked with it
yet, but just posted pics because who here doesn't like to see them in the wild?

My favorite pic...

Those are nice pics of a good knife. I bought the Ontario Rat 5 for my bush knife. It's nearly identical to the Esee.

Thanks!

I noticed that...the RATs do seem identical.
I'd assume they are carbon copies.
Can't lose either way I guess.

Nice pics, so nice to see so many grabbing the 6 out of their choices.

Nice knife! It's next on my wish list. I just bought a Junglas, an ESEE 5 (venom green) and an Izula. They are the sharpest knife out of the box that I have ever seen. Makes a new Cold Steel look like a butter knife.

I tried carrying the Izula inside the waitband with a custom paracord rig I made. A careless draw left my shirt soaked with blood. Didn't even realize that I had cut myself until I felt the blood running down my side. No stitches, but stilla nice cut on my love handle. Needless to say, I don't carry it that way anymore!
