Default Fun Poll: Fill the last slot in the BOB I'm making

Advertise Here

Without knowing all the other contents of the BOB I'm putting together, which of the following four items do you think is most important to include (I have room for only one):

1. Flares/glowsticks (signaling for help)
2. Tinder (starting fires)
3. Candle (also starting fires and light)
4. Headlamp (I already have a couple of flashlights)

You're gonna need it when you've been awake for 3 days straight running from zombies.

Let's be honest, if the world does go to sh*t, who wouldn't wanna be high as a kite for a couple days?

Tinder can be found anytime, anywhere....if you aint nekkid.

Candle is more diverse IMO. Can do all the other 3 (aside from tinder).

I'm getting very prepared to take care of my family in the event of SHTF but I swear if it turned to zombies I seriously might have to consider the blow and some alcohol along with my weapons! I love the walking dead but it scares the bejeebies out of me thinking about if it were to really happen!!

I say glowsticks because you could always put on some dance music and have a party.

Tinder is nice to have if you are on the run, and don't want to look for some. Candles are also a nice option.

Listen to Lofty. Candles save matches, start fires, and if they are tallow ya can eat em. Like Spam with a wick....

1. Flares. Hell with signaling, I'm talking instant backfire.

Candles. Not only for the light, fire starting, but for the wax they are made from. Great for lubing wire snares, waterproofing seams and seals etc.
