When was this debunked? Was all over the news when they started helping illegals and is backed by Snoops. Another poster has letters from the firearms company with whom they refuse to do business.

This is somewhat old news now but still an important issue. Bank of unAmerica denies this and has issued a statement in regard to this issue.

BofA statement:
“We want to let you know that we hear your comments and questions regarding one of our customers. While we cannot discuss the details of any individual client we work with, we can assure you the allegations being made here are completely false. Bank of America does not have a policy that prohibits us from banking clients in this industry. In fact, we have numerous, longstanding customers in the industry.

We are also extremely proud of our support of the US military and reject any assertion to the contrary. We count as clients many companies that provide for our nation’s defense. We employ thousands of veterans, Guardsmen, and Reservists, and plan to increase our hiring this year.”

I talked to Mike Mcmillan and he stands behind what Kelly says 100%. I have to side with Mcmillan and would suggest that anyone that thinks differently take into consideration the following. If what Mcmillan says was false and did not occur I'm sure BofA would have their huge legal team all over McMillan with cease and desist orders and threats of suit for slander and defamation.

Another thing to consider is that Bass Pro Shops Visa is a Bank of unAmerica card. I will no longer shop at BPS!

I had to deposit my rent the other day - unfortunately they use BofA - the woman manager asked where I banked, I told her, and she was trying to get me to change. I told her about McMillan and told her it'd be a cold day in hell when I let BofA handle my money as a result, which was a shame since I had considered using them. (A white lie designed to make her feel especially bad about it.) She was a bit taken aback.

I verified the story on Mcmillan Firearms facebook page. Mcmillan has nothing to gain by lying about this story & I agree that they could be sued for lying about it.

I pulled out several thousand dollars from BOA & sent them a scathing E-mail about it. Several other S.B. members here on this thread have also closed accounts. Who knows how many members of various gun forums have also pulled their money from BOA? If anyone has anything to gain by LYING about this story, I'd say it was Bank of Anti-America.
