Default What happened to the SB ham radio net?

Advertise Here

There used to be a lot of posts referencing the SB ham radio net on HF on a regular basis. I searched the board but my key words didn't turn up anything that stood out as what I am looking for. What happened to the net? Does it still run on a regular basis? if so, what bands, times, frequencies and such? Is there any information available about the net? Thanks.

I too am very interested in this as I have a "go box" of mobile electronic goodies (in a sealed metal box no less).. and I'm interested to see how I do "deployed".

Default Hams finding some frequencies to hang out on

I saw a few HF frequencies with net times a several months ago. Can't remember if it was from this board or one similar. Listened for a couple of months and heard nothing.

I'm not one for just checking in and out of nets, but to know that a particular frequency(s) had other like-minded folks hanging out there would be awesome!

Guess we need to pick a spot and start calling CQ, right guys?
