Id be willing to bet that most people that support them dont think they will ever have to go through them. Most people dont fly and so what happens at an airport is of no relavence to them and they arent worried about inconveinencing others much less humiliating them.

The underwear bomber's bomb was shaped like male genitalia. I don't think either the scan or the pat-down would have detected it.

Is that another attempt by you, Fx, to stick up for your inept administration?

It sure smells like it.

I can imagine you'd be spinning yourself into a tizzy if Bushy's people were there now.

i would imagine most people will eventually fly at some point in their lives.

and as far as the underwear bomber goes... the guy boarded a plane in AMSTERDAM!!! so why are we getting assaulted, when EU should be increasing their security measures instead of us?

I think it speaks more of what's wrong with the general public than the administration. Of course, it's hard to argue that the majority opinion matters on some issues when one finds out just how much the majority can suck on others.

i heard that the polls where most support scanners, supposedly, were worded like "do you support some form of airport security?"

I'm bettinging the 80% who voted in favor of the scans don't know what the inside of an airplane smells like.

This is just more propaganda being pushed out by the administration to try to say "See, everybody else has no problem, why are you?"

Orifice searches are next people, if BigSis has her way...and on all manner of transport, not just air flights. Get ready all soft, apathetic and passive Americans. Anyone care?

You can't leave. Once you've started the process you HAVE to finish or you'll be arrested.
