Default Awesome Bug Out Vehicle!

If it's possible I may just try to import a few of these, and if that's the case I'll be changing my bug out vehicle to this the Panhard BVL. A light armored 4x4 that's fast, capable, amphibious and available in both short (96") and long (106") wheelbases! Of course I'd want the long wheelbase.

Though I can't get into too many details at this time, and exporter from one of the 16 countries who use these says his country is getting ready to surplus some of these out. They have both the long and short wheelbase versions, the one I'm interested in is the command/long wheelbase version. This country has also upgraded the stock engines and transmissions with those from Toyota, and all wiring has been given an upgrade as well.

I don't know how much they'll be offering them to us for, but I know I want one of these real bad!!

On a side note, anyone here want a tank???

We've been offered four different models of those as well!

Default No thank you

Thats all I need. That would be like wearing a blue helmet in a SHTF situation. No way alot of the people in our area would think it was a French or UN vehicle nad that would not bode well for survival. I will stick with American made stuff. But it does look sweet.

Some of our guys are already using them overseas, and the proposed new HMMV Cobra is a direct rip off of the design.

New HMMV.

They'll be plenty available for free once the UN gets here with 'em.

Only issue is they'll all be shot up and burnin'.

I'm surprised it doesn't just run in reverse since it's french.

From what I understand, they use regular off the shelf parts. These were offered to the U.S. under clintoons regime, but the idiot refused them. From what I've been able to find out, they are far superior to our HMMV...

I'll post pricing as soon as I find something out.

Mexico has some of them. You might bribe a Federali into selling you one.
