I have some wheat grass that is growing inside in a pot. i have heard that you cant grow wheat berries indoors but you can grow wheat grass(what i have now). why cant i grow wheat berries? what will happen if i keep watering my wheat grass?

jobot, planting wheat is like planting grass. You just let it go until it makes a seed head which is what is harvested as grain. I often have wheatgrass growing where ever I blow the chaff of my wheat. If I don't mow it, it makes a head. I don't see why it wouldn't grow indoors.

ty. i guess that is all i wanted to know. I read that you cant grow berries inside though so that is why i asked.
