Attack AT Fort Hood TX
Breaking News...
7 dead and 20 wounded after attack by 3 gunman. 1 captured, other 2 still on the loose. Base on lockdown along with area schools. Prayers for our brave soldiers.

Yes, it's really sad and unfortunate. They have one shooter apprehended.

Sister stationed there
Some news reports say that parents can pick up their kids, not the case at this time. Base is on full lockdown, so are the schools.
Last I heard 9 confirmed dead, unsure whether they are soldiers or civilians at this time. The shooters went to a graduation ceremony and used AK-47's, in military uniforms, not sure if they are military or not. Sister and fam are all ok at this time. I hope if anyone has family stationed there that your family members are well. What a crazy world.

Latest report now 9 dead. Second shooter caught. Gut says muslim converts will be to blame. Prayers offered to familys/loved ones.

Listening to Fox news now, they just stated that the "ease" of getting military uniforms helped with this shooting. So expect restrictions on camo now in addition to more media kneejerk against AK's if true they were used. And the allknowing fbi says not "terrorist" related, what a crock.

just heard 11 dead, over 25 injured... 1 suspect in custody, as many as 3 still on the loose... 500 soldiers armed and on the hunt... NBC special report.
EDIT: They revised it as I was submitting. 12 dead, over 30 injured. 1 suspect dead, 2 in custody, 2 more suspected to be at large.

One suspect identified as Major with arab name. And yet FBI says it is NOT a terrorist event. Me smell info-spin at full force.
