Ruger 77/357?

Does anyone have a Ruger 77/357? This has caught my eye recently. It seems like a great scout rifle with the capability to take everything from rabbits to deer out to 150 yards with ease. Imagine everything from a light 38 special round to a stout 357 mag round being shot from the same platform, in a rifle! I first saw it on AllOutdoor, then I saw a great review from GunBlast. I'm thinking a 2-7x Nikon ProStaff would make a good glass for this rifle. Any opinions on this fine looking firearm? One of these might find a home with me this fall.

imho, I would go with a lever action rifle over that. you get the same speed of operation between a bolt gun and a lever gun and you get twice the capacity from a similar sized gun. you can also mount a 2-7x scope on the lever gun.

a rossi 92 will be the same price for stainless, or less blued, weighs half a pound less, and carries twice the ammo.

I hac a couple of rifles in 357, a custom Remington Rolling Block and a Rossi lever action. I didn't like either one because it felt like I was shooting a pea shooter. There are much better Calibers for rifles. I do wish I would have kept the Rolling Block and punched it out to 257 Maximum. I would have liked to have given it a try.
