Things are pretty good. How is with you? Spending time teaching my two oldest Granddaughter the "language." They learn 5 new words at a time, then I test them later to see how many they remember. So far they are doing well. They are 5 & 6 years old. I'm feeling the itch to disappear into the Woods again for awhile...I'm feeling the need to get away from the world for a few days.

So far I have no complaints. I just finished doing a hand tooled, tacked & beaded buttstock cover on it. Check my thread about the gun in the Shotgun section of the forum and you can see what it looks like with the upgrade. Gonna add brass tacks down the foregrip, and a hand laced lever cushion too.

I hear yah there. I love anything western or old frontier. When you pick up something like this theres something that runs through you that you just don't get out of modern firearms. Things were made from good ole american raw steel and wood and you just don't get that outa polymers. I had been looking at the IAC lever actions but I don't realy know anyone that has one to see if they were any good or not.

Just recently got it and have only taken it out once so far but I really like it. I tend to lean toward "old style" western type firearms with only a couple of exceptions. It holds a total of 7 shells and has a rolling block type breech. Reminds me of an old Sharps or Spencer as it loads from the top when the lever is pulled down.
