Thank you, I’m doing well. Things got really busy there for a bit but I think it’s all starting to level out.

Good to see a message from you Grandma. I am doing ok for being stuck here in the stinkin city - Greeley, CO.

I was able to get on my mtn place for five whole days over Labor day even a couple days after Labor day. I got as much done as possible and I will post new pics in a month or so in my sticky pic thread in the wilderness section.

I have to post two messages since there is a very limited word limit here.

Thanks for the good message grandma. Funny to call you that since you might not be even as old as I am - 57.

I just posted once > http://www.survivalistboards.com/showthread.php?p=7933339#post7933339 - I post seldom anymore for various reasons. No time and I get online maybe once a week or so.

And at the end of this long post I tell what I have to do now and why I cannot be on my mtn land like I have for the past 20 or so years > http://www.survivalistboards.com/showthread.php?p=7700827#post7700827

Mainly I have to help / take care of my old mom and dad since I have no one to help but I explain more in the link I just gave. later MMMike

I might not ever post another pic thread, mainly since I was "ganged up" on and attacked in Watch Ryder's chainsaw thread. That thread and the chainsaw vid of me cutting down a large difficult tree is closed and the vid deleted. But here is where I have posted many new pics in case you are interested. I show much Wyoming wildlife on my last post on this page. >

    Hello,

Yes, they sell a lot of "precious" stones over here. I haven't fallen for that....but many do. On the other hand.....if you buy them because they are pretty and interesting.....that's another story.

Please tell your son in law thanks for his service. I did many years on active duty but never made it over here. Now that I'm a civilian working for the Army....I find myself here! LOL

Best wishes to you.....and happy prepping!!

Thanks for the message and it seems many miss or just ignore my threads. Especially when I post in the general Disaster section since it is very busy and threads get buried to the 2nd page fast if no one posts in the thread. I don't post as much as I did in the past but maybe I or someone else will post updates on what will happen this summer on my mtn place. later, MMMike

    Hi Grandma,
I saw on a thread you were talking about making a fantastic soap. I make laundry soap. Are you making lye soap also? Just curious. I love talking about soap.
Take Care and hope you had a nice weekend.

Sorry for the late response - I did not read my private messages . . .

I used the recipe from this link
    HOW TO: Great beef jerky
and modified it to my taste. What I have made turns out kind of "sweet and sour" tasting - I prefer that to hot & spicy
